Which Region is really the Best?
Every year KYMSFA conducts the state playoffs and crowns 5 State Champions in the fall, puts together the FBU Team Kentucky National Team, Puts together 6th 7th and 8th Grade All Star Classic Teams but have you ever wondered…………………….even pondered…………………..all those players……………all those schools and teams…………………….from all over the Commonwealth of Kentucky……………………………………………………
Which Region is really the Best?
Teams will be broken down into regions and each region will field a 6th, 7th and 8th grade team of 40 players each, coached by coaches in that region. Players will be selected from the tryouts that will be happening in November. This event will be a 3-weekend commitment. Teams will get 2 practice weekends in March to practice in their region. On the final weekend, all 4 region teams from each grade level will come to a tbd site to battle it out to see which region is the best. Opening games will take place on that Saturday, with winning regions playing on Sunday, and losing regions playing a conciliation game on Sunday. Player fee will be $175 to participate if selected.
Tryouts for Battle of the Regions will be November 10, 2024 @ Scott Co High School, Georgetown KY -- Cost $50.00
8th Grade - Registration 9:30am - 11am --- Tryout 11am - 2pm
7th & 6th Grade - Registration 1pm - 2:30pm -- Tryout 2:30pm to 5:30pm
Tryouts for all KYMSFA post season teams are full contact tryouts in full equipment (that must be supplied by the player)
